Yes. The app is built so you can focus on one ticker at a time (campaigns) and see your cost basis and premium in plain language. If you're new to the wheel, start with our How to Wheel guide, then create an account and add your first position.

When you're assigned shares from a put, add a new position: choose "Share" and enter the number of shares and your cost (strike minus put premium you kept). Stocksicle will treat that as the start of the stock leg and will use it when you add covered calls and when we show your adjusted cost basis.

Your adjusted cost basis is your effective purchase price after premiums:
• Puts: If assigned, cost = strike − put premium kept.
• Calls: Each premium you collect reduces your basis. We add dividends and subtract commissions so the number reflects your real breakeven.

Update after each trade or expiration—new puts/calls, assignments, rolls, or closed positions. The more up to date your entries, the more accurate your cost basis and P&L. It only takes a few seconds per trade.

We use standard formulas for cost basis and premium. The numbers are intended to be accurate for tracking and planning. For tax reporting, always confirm with your tax professional—we don't provide tax advice.

Yes. You can create multiple accounts (e.g. IRA, taxable) and assign positions to each. Switch between accounts in the app so you always know which portfolio you're viewing.

Not yet. You enter trades manually—symbol, strike, expiration, premium, etc. We're focused on giving you the best tracking and cost basis logic; broker integration may come later.
